The urge to bake!!

My lack of inspiring titles is indication that it's about time I take up reading as a hobby again... That being said... Oh, the urge to bake... I feel it in my bones!! Or that may be due to the weather... It rained for at least 12 hours straight today. Been a while since I've experienced that. =)

Yes, reading should be next on the list of priorities.....

Now... The reason for my sudden urge to bake.... Is thanks to Meeta, a wonderful cook who shares all sorts of wonderful recipes in her blog What's For Lunch, Honey? Have just recently signed up for her email subscription thingy and her most recent blog Chocolate Orange Cake sounds like it's simply to die for!

So yes, am now itching to try out Chocolate Orange Cake and Chocolate Banana Bread!! All I need are the ingredients and I'm good to go! Imagine a race car, revving at the start of a race, just anticipating the sound of the start gun.... THAT'S ME!! Revving to get started..........

Eggless Lemony Chocolate Cheesecake!

Alright, mine is a modification of Ko Rasoi's - Devillish Cheesecake. Brilliant cook.

A good friend of mine happens to be a vegetarian who doesn't eat eggs, so... this cake was made for him on his birthday, since it is pretty rare to get eggless cakes in Moscow.. And the one they do sell has been bought so many times for many different birthdays that... It just doesn't cut it.

Digestive Biscuits, anyone?

Alright, it's been a while.... And how active I'll be will depend on how motivated I am to actually try out new recipes and experiment with modifying the tastes...

Now, digestive biscuits are.... what seems to be the most crucial ingredient in cheesecake recipes - the cheesecake's base!! And currently, Moscow, Russia doesn't seem to stock up on digestive biscuits... Or maybe they do, at Marks & Spencers? Not entirely sure.. but that most definitely won't fit into my student's budget....

So, found "Digestive quest" via google and tried the recipe out...
